March arrived and left with amazing brevity. In the midst of it while spending each day in our home, we felt the promise of summer’s heat coming (87 degrees in March?), and felt winter’s chill hang around too long. Such is life in the midwest.

We are thankful in this season for a yard large enough to till up a big garden and are hopeful for a full harvest later this summer. Our boys continue to grow, the oldest two into young men right before our eyes, the youngest still very much the baby of the family (yet they still find ways to play collectively). The dog? She hates our chickens with a depth of hatred we didn’t know a dog could have. However, we are convinced that she is the cutest dog we’ve ever seen.

From our family to yours, we do hope your spring is filled with grace and joy.

(half of the images made by our oldest, Micah…we are proud)

Ah, that dog/chicken face-off picture is epic! This collection is full of perfect little moments suspended in time . Good job Micah, you've got wonderful teachers! :)
